The transfer window in England officially opens on June 14, with Premier League clubs set to be busy once again ahead of next season.

All 20 sides will likely be active in the market, although the upcoming European Championships in Germany could act as an obstacle for clubs trying to sign players involved in the tournament.

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be on the hunt for reinforcements, with Ange Postecoglou’s side having finished the season poorly after an impressive start to his first campaign in charge.

Now, it appears that the North London side are hoping to sign a former Chelsea winger.

As per Football Insider, the Lilywhites are hoping to complete a move for Nottingham Forest star Callum Hudson-Odoi before June 30.

Hudson-Odoi has emerged as a target for Tottenham

Forest, who were handed a points deduction for breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules last term, are once again at risk of being docked points and need to sell players to raise funds before the deadline at the end of June.

With that in mind, Spurs are hoping to negotiate a deal for the three-time England international before June 30.

Hudson-Odoi, 23, graduated through Chelsea’s youth academy and made more than 125 appearances for the club at senior level, scoring 16 goals and providing 16 assists.

He eventually fell out of favour at Stamford Bridge though and, after a relatively unsuccessful loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, joined Foret for a fee of £5 million last summer.

Since moving to The City Ground, the winger has scored eight goals in 34 games, as well as registering two assists.

He is contracted to Forest until the end of the 2025/26 campaign, but Spurs could look to lure him back to the capital this summer withForest’s financial situation forcing the club to sell players.
