Tottenham Hotspur’s dismal run of form continued as they were beaten 2-1 by London rivals West Ham United on Thursday evening.

The hosts went ahead in the first half courtesy of Cristian Romero’s header, but the Hammers produced a stunning comeback after the break to earn all three points.

Goals from Jarrod Bowen and James Ward-Prowse earned David Moyes’ side a crucial win over their bitter rivals, inflicting a fourth defeat in five matches on Ange Postecoglou’s team.

Spurs were once again without key players James Maddison and Micky van de Ven for the game, with the pair still absent after sustaining injuries during their defeat against Chelsea last month.

One player that continues to struggle for form in Postecoglou’s side is forward Richarlison, and it appears that the player’s future is uncertain.

Richarlison has struggled to make an impression since joining Tottenham last summer

As per Football Insider, Tottenham are now considering allowing the Brazilian to depart the club when the transfer window reopens in January.

It is claimed that Tottenham have made a u-turn on Richarlison, with their stance previously having been that he was not for sale.

With the 26-year-old having attracted significant interest from clubs in the Saudi Arabian Pro League, the report claims that Spurs could allow Richarlison to leave if a suitable offer is made.

Those in charge of the London club believe that selling the Brazil international could help to raise funds for new signings, with Postecoglou looking to bolster his squad.

Richarlison, who cost Spurs a reported fee of £60 million when joining from Everton last summer, has scored 53 goals and provided 14 assists in 152 matches for the club across all competitions.

His current contract is set to run until the summer of 2027, but the striker could be sold in January if a suitable offer is made.
