The Premier League returns on Saturday with Tottenham Hotspur facing fierce rivals West Ham United in a London derby.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have won just three of their opening seven matches of the new league campaign, and the Australian will be desperate to oversee a derby win which could kickstart his side’s season.

The Hammers, however, cruised to a 4-1 win over newly promoted Ipswich Town in their final match before the international break, and they will undoubtedly provide a tough test for the Lilywhites.

Away from the Premier League, it appears that Spurs could be willing to sell one of their most important players amid interest from Spain.

According to GiveMeSport, the North London club could consider selling right-back Pedro Porro, with Spanish giants Real Madrid believed to be interested in the player.

It is claimed that Real are hoping to sign a new right-back next year and Porro has been identified as one of their top targets, along with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong.

The European champions’ need for a new right-sided full-back has increased of late, following a season-ending injury suffered by Dani Carvajal.

Spurs paid a fee of £39 million to sign Porro, 25, from Sporting CP in the summer of 2023, following a successful six-month loan spell.

Porro has made a total of 62 appearances for Spurs across all competitions, scoring eight times and registering ten assists.

The Spaniard previously played for Manchester City, but failed to make a single senior appearance for the Citizens.

It is claimed that Tottenham could consider selling the Spain international if a suitable offer – which would represent a financial profit – was made.

Porro’s contract with the Lilywhites is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign.
