Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the Premier League’s busier club during the transfer window so far.

Teenagers Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have both arrived in North London, bolster Ange Postecoglou’s squad ahead of what could be an important season for the Lilywhites.

The Australian guided Spurs to a fifth-placed finish in his first season in charge of the club, although his side had started the season strongly and looked almost certain to qualify for the Champions League midway through the campaign.

Now, one of the club’s attacker is seemingly on his way out of North London.

As per Football Insider, striker Troy Parrott is on his way to The Netherlands to finalise a move to AZ Alkmaar.

Parrott has scored five times for the Republic of Ireland

The 22-year-old forward is set to join the Eredivisie outfit permanently, with the report suggesting that the fee is upwards of £1 million.

Parrott joined Tottenham from Irish side Belvedere back in 2017 but has never established himself in the first team setup at the London club.

In total he has made just four appearances for Spurs across all competitions, failing to ever score or assist for the club.

Parrott has also spent time on loan at a number of clubs, including MK Dons, Preston North End, Ipswich Town and Dutch side Excelsior.

The forward’s contract with Tottenham isn’t set to expire until next summer, but it appears that the North London outfit have opted to cash in on the player now, as opposed to losing him for free next year.
