Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou will be keen to bolster his squad this summer in an effort to improve next term.

The Australian guided the Lilywhites to a fifth-placed Premier League finish in his first season in charge of the club, although it had initially looked like Spurs may finish even higher after they topped the table ten matches into the campaign.

Postecoglou will likely want to add to his squad during the upcoming summer transfer window, and it appears that the North London club are chasing one of the Football League’s most talented young players.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham are interested in Leeds United youngster Archie Gray.

The 18-year-old took the Championship by storm last season, making 44 appearances for the Whites as Daniel Farke’s side reached the play-off final at Wembley.

Gray enjoyed a fine season for Leeds last term

He played 52 times in total last term, but his impressive displays have attracted interest from elsewhere and Leeds could now face a battle to keep hold of the right-back.

Fellow right-back Emerson Royal is set to leave Tottenham this summer after Spurs told him to find a new club.

The report claims that Spurs are hoping to sign a right-back this summer to provide cover for first choice Pedro Porro.

With that in mind, the club could swoop for the teenage sensation after the full-back impressed scouts on occasions this term.

Gray’s current contract, which he signed in January this year, is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign.

As well as his natural right-back role, Gray is also capable of playing in midfield as either a central or defensive midfielder.
