Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action when they face lowly Luton Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Lilywhites have enjoyed a largely successful season so far and currently sit fifth in the top flight table, just three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.

Ange Postecoglou’s side also have a game-in-hand over the Villans, and the Australian will be desperate to see his side defeat the Hatters next time out.

Regardless of whether Spurs qualify for the Champions League next term, it appears that those in charge of the club are already planning ahead for the upcoming transfer window.

As per Football Insider, the North London outfit are keeping tabs on Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White.

Gibbs-White has impressed since joining Forest from Wolves

The report claims that Tottenham have scouted the midfielder on a number of occasions both last season and this term.

Gibbs-White, 24, joined Forest from fellow Premier League side Wolves in the summer of 2022, having impressed during a loan spell with Sheffield United.

Since moving to The City Ground, the Englishman has scored nine goals and provided 13 assists in 71 matches across all competitions.

The player has been crucial to Forest so far this season, playing in 28 of their 29 Premier League matches as they look to avoid relegation to the Championship.

Spurs reportedly view the Forest man as a player capable of playing at Champions League level.

It is also claimed that Forest could be forced to sell a number of key players this summer, if they are relegated or face sanctions for breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations.

The Midlands club were deducted four points last week for breaching the restrictions, seeing them drop into the relegation zone.

Gibbs-White’s current contract is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season.
