Tottenham Hotspur head the queue to sign Genk midfielder Sander Berge, according to TEAMtalk.

The 20-year-old has impressed since signing for the Belgian side in 2017 and is under contract until 2021.

However, his performances have reportedly attracted a number of Premier League clubs with Spurs thought to be leading the race for his services.

Mauricio Pochettino is aiming to add to his squad in January after failing to sign any players in the summer transfer window.

And with doubts over the futures of central midfielders Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele, the north London club could make a move for the Norway international.

Berge, who has played 61 times for Genk, is said to be valued at around £13.2million by the Luminus Arena outfit.
