Tottenham Hotspur will hope to end their poor run of form when they face high-flying Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The Lilywhites have won just two of their last six matches across all competitions, most recently being beaten 1-0 by Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of their Europa League last 16 tie on Thursday.

That run of form means Spurs sit 13th in the Premier League table, and are on course to miss out on qualification for European football next term.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, occupy seventh place in the top flight standings and are in contention to feature in next season’s Champions League.

Sunday’s match could also give Tottenham an opportunity to see one of their transfer targets in action.

According to CaughtOffside, the North London side are plotting an offer for Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo.

Semenyo has attracted interest from Tottenham

The report claims that Spurs are planning an initial offer of around £33 million for the Ghana international, who has been in fine form for the Cherries so far this term.

Semenyo joined Bournemouth from Championship side Bristol City in 2023 and has since played 77 times for the south coast club, scoring 18 goals.

He has been particularly impressive this season, contributing nine goals and five assists in 30 games across all competitions so far.

The report claims that those in charge of Spurs are planning to overhaul Postecoglou’s attack during this summer’s transfer window, and 25-year-old Semenyo has been identified as a top target.

The Ghanaian is under contract with Bournemouth until the end of the 2028/29 campaign, which puts the Cherries under very little pressure to sell him any time soon.

It is also claimed that Chelsea, Newcastle United, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Italian side Napoli have also shown interest in the winger.
