Tottenham Hotspur get their Premier League campaign underway when they face Leicester City on Monday night.

The Lilywhites will face the Foxes, who won the Championship last term to secure a return to the top flight at the first time of asking.

Spurs finished fifth in the Premier League table last season, and manager Ange Postecoglou will hope to see his side improve on that this time around.

Now, though, it appears that one member of his squad could soon join the Foxes.

As per Football Insider, midfielder Oliver Skipp has completed a medical ahead of a proposed move to Leicester.

The report claims that the two clubs have reached a full agreement for the Englishman to move to The King Power Stadium.

Skipp is set to join Leicester City in the coming days

It is claimed that the 23-year-old will cost Leicester an initial fee of £20 million, plus add-ons.

Postecoglou has deemed Skipp to be surplus to requirements, hence Spurs allowing the midfielder to leave.

Skipp is said to have agreed personal terms with Leicester, with the move expected to be finalised in the coming days.

The midfielder is a product of Tottenham’s youth academy and has made more than 100 appearances for the London side across all competitions at senior level.

His only goal for the club came in a victory over rivals Chelsea in February 2023.

The player has just under three years remaining on his current Lilywhites deal, but he has opted to depart the club in search of more regular first team football, having started just five Premier League games last season.
