Tottenham are interested in signing Championship starlet Moussa Dembele.
The Premier League outfit, who drew 1-1 with North London rivals Arsenal on Sunday, are understood to be long-term admirers of the Fulham striker and are plotting a January swoop for the young star.
The 19-year-old, who is a France Under-20 international, has scored eight goals in 18 appearances in all competitions for the managerless Cottagers so far this season.
If Fulham’s Dembele was to seal a switch to Spurs this New Year, manager Mauricio Pochettino would be coaching two players with the same name as former teammate and Belgium international Moussa Dembele is already at White Hart Lane.
However; Tottenham face stiff competition from the likes of Premier League rivals Everton and Eredivisie outfit Feyenoord for Dembele’s services, whose current contract at Craven Cottage is due to expire next summer.
