Tottenham Hotspur return to action when they face Manchester City in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday evening.

The Lilywhites drew 2-2 against Manchester United in the Premier League last time out, and manager Ange Postecoglou will be keen to see his side put in another impressive performance against the Citizens.

Tottenham have been boosted by the signings of Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner this month, but the Australian will likely be on the hunt for further reinforcements before the window shuts.

In the meantime, Spurs have reportedly rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia for one of their defenders.

According to The Sun’s Tom Barclay, the North London outfit have rejected an offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr for full-back Emerson Royal.

Tottenham have rejected an offer from Al-Nassr for Royal

The Brazil international joined Spurs from Spanish side Barcelona in 2021, and has since made a total of 95 appearances for the club across all competitions.

Royal, 25, played 41 times during his first season in London, and made 36 appearances last term.

The Brazilian has started just seven Premier League games so far this term, but it appears that he remains in Postecoglou’s plans as the club have rejected an offer for him.

Barclay claims that Royal is happy at Tottenham and has no intention of departing the club this month, however he also suggests that Al-Nassr are preparing a second offer for the player.

Al-Nassr are one of several Saudi Pro League sides to have spent significant sums on signing players from Europe over the past two years; most notably former Manchester United and Real Madrid man Cristiano Ronaldo.
