Tottenham continue to be reportedly linked with moves for Gent stars Laurent Depoitre and Moses Simon.

The Premier League outfit, who defeated Aston Villa 3-1 on Monday night, have scouted striker Depoitre and fellow forward Simon several times this campaign already, including last night’s 1-0 victory over Valencia in the UEFA Champions League.

Depoitre, 26, who scored on his international debut for Belgium last month against Andorra, has already scored six goals in 18 appearances in all competitions for the Jupiler Pro League outfit this season.

Meanwhile Simon, 20, who is a Nigeria international, has played 13 games for the Belgians so far this term, assisting one goal.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen on bolstering his attacking options ahead of the January transfer window, with the Gent duo being earmarked as the North London club’s top targets ahead of the New Year period.
