Tottenham Hotspur face a tough challenge on Friday evening as they host Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The current holders will undoubtedly provide a tough test for Spurs, who defeated Burnley 1-0 in the previous round.

Ange Postecoglou’s side started the season in scintillating form and sat top of the Premier League table after ten matches, before a poor run saw them drop out of the top four.

A recent run of four wins in six matches has pulled the Lilywhites back into contention for a top four spot, but Postecoglou will also be keen to put together a cup run and will therefore want to impress against City.

Tottenham have already signed Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin this month, but Football Insider claims that the North London outfit are plotting two more signings.

Werner joined Spurs on loan from RB Leipzig

Both Werner and Dragusin – signed from RB Leipzig and Genoa respectively – made their debuts during Spurs’ 2-2 draw against Manchester United earlier this month, but the report claims that Postecoglou and chairman Daniel Levy are hopeful of signing two more players before the window slams shut.

Club Brugge star Antonio Nusa is likely to be one of the signings, with the report claiming that a deal for the player is close to being finalised.

Tottenham are said to be in pole position to land the youngster, although there is still work to do before an agreement is completed.

If the 18-year-old is signed, he will be loaned back to the Belgian side for the remainder of the current campaign.

A central midfielder is high on the club’s list of priorities, although a move for Chelsea star Conor Gallagher now appears unlikely and the Lilywhites may therefore have to look elsewhere.
