Tottenham Hotspur were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by struggling Everton on Saturday afternoon.

The Lilywhites twice went ahead through former Toffees striker Richarlison, but the hosts pegged their visitors back both times.

Defender Jarrad Branthwaite earned Sean Dyche’s side a valuable point with a goal deep into added time, much to the frustration of Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou.

Next up for the Lilywhites is a game against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, but in the meantime it appears that the North London outfit have been handed a transfer boost.

As per Football Insider, Tottenham target Lloyd Kelly has rejected a number of new contract offers with current club Bournemouth.

The 25-year-old’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and he is therefore able to sign a pre-contract agreement with any foreign club at present.

Kelly has attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs

The report claims that Kelly has attracted interest from Italian clubs AC Milan and Juventus, as well as a number of German sides.

Spurs are said to be long-term admirers of Kelly and had an offer of £20 million for the player rejected last summer.

The left-back, who can also operate in the centre of defence, joined the Cherries from Football League side Bristol City back in 2019.

Since then he has made 130 appearances for the south coast side across all competitions, including 43 in the Premier League.

While his current employers are understandably keen to keep hold of Kelly beyond this summer, the player himself is in a powerful position at present and is said to have rejected a several renewal offers.

During the recent January transfer window, Bournemouth didn’t receive any concrete interest in the player, largely due to the fact that they were demanding a fee in the region of £20 million to sell him.
