Tottenham Hotspur face Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday evening.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have improved of late, winning three Premier League matches on the bounce after a run of five games without victory.

The Australian will be hoping to see his side continue their good run of form, but the Seagulls will undoubtedly provide a stern test.

In the meantime, it appears that Spurs have told three of their most experienced players that they are able to leave the club.

According to Football Insider, Eric Dier, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and Hugo Lloris have all been told to find new clubs.

The trio have been at Tottenham for varying lengths of time, but all three have fallen dramatically out of favour since Postecoglou’s arrival over the summer.

Dier, 29, joined the Lilywhites from Sporting CP back in 2014 and has since made more than 360 appearances for the club across all competitions.

Hojbjerg has been told to find himself a new club

The central defender had been a regular for several seasons, but he fell out of favour when Postecoglou arrived and didn’t feature for Tottenham until Cristian Romero was sent off against Chelsea in November.

He has since fallen back out of favour, and the report claims that Spurs have told the England international to find himself a new club.

Lloris, meanwhile, joined the club back in 2012, joining from French side Lyon.

He spent more than a decade as Spurs’ first choice goalkeeper, but hasn’t featured in a matchday squad so far this season and is expected to depart North London next month.

In total the ‘keeper has made 444 appearances for the club across all competitions, but his time at Spurs is essentially already over.

Midfielder Hojbjerg joined the club from Southampton in 2020 but, having initially played a key role in Tottenham’s midfield, the Dane has also fallen out of favour this season.

He has made more than 160 appearances for Spurs across all competitions, but has only started three Premier League games so far this season.
