Nothing has been worked harder than the revolving door at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium this summer.

After the likes of Antonio Conte, Paulo Fonseca and Gennaro Gattuso all made contact with the club only to either walk away or be rejected outright, Spurs finally have a new manager in Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Portuguese manager got Wolves promoted and then established them as a strong Premier League side before departing the Molineux at the end of last season.

However, he did not wait long for a new venture as he will be the man leading Spurs from now on.

He is not the only new arrival in North London as former Juventus chief footballing officer Fabio Paratici left Turin to join Tottenham as the club’s new managing director of football.

According to the Express, the Italian is already looking to make his mark by reigniting interest in Inter Milan central defender Milan Skriniar.

Skriniar scored an impressive volley in Slovakia’s 2-1 win against Poland.

The powerful defender was admired by former manager Jose Mourinho, who pushed to sign the Slovakian defender to no avail.

However, Tottenham are set to pursue the 26-year-old once more as they look to reshape and recover their defensive unit.

Unfortunately for the Lilywhites, Skriniar will not come cheap as Inter have allegedly demanded £51.6 million for his services, which would make him one of the club’s biggest signings.

It would also significantly eclipse their previous record defensive signing, Davinson Sanchez, who Spurs forked out £42 million to bring him from Ajax to the capital.
