Stoke City are reportedly ready to offer Peter Crouch in a deal to sign unsettled West Brom striker Saido Berahino, according to Transfer Centre Live.

Despite scoring twice in the Baggies’ 2-2 draw with Peterborough in the FA Cup on Saturday, the 22-year-old is still keen to leave the Hawthorns before the transfer window closes on Monday evening.

City manager Mark Hughes is keen to sign an attacker, and is ready to offer popular Potter Crouch, plus cash, to secure the services of the Burundi international.

It is understood that Newcastle submitted an offer of £21 million on Sunday, but Albion aren’t keen to do business with a team that is below them in the Premier League table.
