Stoke are among three clubs interested in Joe Bursik.

According to a report in the Derby Telegraph the teenage Wimbledon keeper has also caught the attention of Crystal Palace and Derby County.

Mark Hughes is keen to reduce the average age if his side and has asked his scouts to look in the lower divisions for emerging talent.

Bursik has still to make his senior debut but impressed for England at the recent u-17 European Championship Finals in Croatia.

The opportunity to work alongside Jack Butland is bound to appeal to Bursik as well as training in the first class facilities at Clayton Wood.

Bursik has been at Wimbledon since the age of eight with the club realistic enough to appreciate that they’ll have their work cut out to retain an England youth internationalist.

One option could be moving elsewhere and going back to Wimbledon on loan if he can be guaranteed first team football.
