Leicester City have been reportedly offered the chance to sign Senegal international Mame Biram Diouf, according to Sky Sports (17:41).

The surprise Premier League leaders are on the lookout to snap up a striker on deadline day, with the Stoke City forward now emerging as a real possibility.

The 28-year-old, who has 29 international caps to his name, has scored three league goals in 14 appearances for the Potters this season.

Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri could take up Stoke’s offer of signing Diouf after Leicester pulled out of a deal for Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow), whilst alternative target Loic Remy wants to stay at Chelsea.
