Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Italy international centre forward Simone Zaza.

The Premier League outfit, who lost out 2-0 to Sunderland at the weekend, are now the lowest scoring team in the English top-flight this term, meaning the Potters are seeking attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old, who has seven international caps to his name, has scored three goals in nine appearances for Serie A champions Juventus so far this season.

With the Turin outfit willing to sell Zaza in the January market; it is understood that Stoke boss Mark Hughes is considering negotiating a colossal £18m deal for the former Sassuolo hitman, who is also attracting interest from the likes of Watford and West Ham United.
