Stoke City have been reportedly linked with a move for Iran international Sardar Azmoun.

The Premier League side, who thrillingly defeated Everton 4-3 on Monday inside Goodison Park, are understood to be keen on bringing in the FC Rostov forward during the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who already has 14 international caps for his country, has scored three goals in 13 league games for the Russian Premier League outfit this season.

However Azmoun, who is said to have a €6m release clause, is currently on a season-long loan deal with Rostov from Rubin Kazan.
