Name: Joselu
Position: Forward

Joselu has shown Stoke fans what he’s capable of in recent weeks.

After a fantastic December, in which wins against Everton, Manchester City and Manchester United were picked up, Stoke have suffered a little with a New Year hangover.

Mark Hughes’ side have picked up just four points from their four matches this month, with Marko Arnautovic, Xherdan Shaqiri and Bojan not quite hitting the heights of the recent past.

However, with the main men off colour a tad, this has seen forward Joselu show what he is capable of after arriving with a decent reputation from Hoffenheim in the summer.

The 25-year-old has had to wait his turn but impressed in the four appearances he made; setting up a goal in the defeat at West Brom, scoring in the 3-1 win over Norwich and showing flashes of his ability in the 0-0 draw against Arsenal.

Although he played 90 minutes in the 3-0 defeat at Leicester, none of his team-mates left the pitch with much credit after a bad day at the office against the country’s surprise package.
