Sunderland are reportedly considering making a move for Arsenal and West Ham United target Oguzhan Ozyakup.

New Black Cats boss Sam Allardyce, who succeeded Dick Advocaat at the Stadium of Light last week, is thought to have earmarked the Turkey international as a potential January signing for the second-bottom Premier League side.

The 23-year-old, who has 12 international caps to his name, has scored one goal in seven appearances in all competitions for Super Lig side Besiktas so far this season.

A former Arsenal midfielder; Ozyakup left the Gunners back in 2012 for around £300,000 after spending four years at the Emirates as a youngster, making just two first-team appearances.

He is now thought to be valued between £10m-£15m by Turkish giants Besiktas.
