Graham looks set to depart Sunderland despite appearing against Arsenal in the FA Cup on Saturday.

A boyhood Newcastle United fan, Danny Graham’s time at the Toon’s arch-rivals, Sunderland, has been nothing short of a disaster, and a move away looks to be getting closer.

The striker moved to the Stadium of Light from Swansea for £5 million back in January 2013, and was booed by Black Cats fans on his debut at the start of February against Reading.

The 30-year-old has scored just one goal during his time with the Wearsiders, and has spent time out on loan with with Hull City, Middlesbrough and Wolves during his spell in the North East.

Several Championship sides, including Blackburn Rovers, now want to sign the attacker, who is out of contract in the summer, and a deal could be completed as early as next week.
