Watmore was the key man in the young Three Lions’ victory against Switzerland.

Nicknamed the ‘Ginger Messi’, Watmore enjoyed a successful international break with the England Under-21s as he enjoyed a game-changing performance.

The 21-year-old came off the bench in the 75th minute for the young Three Lions and quickly made a key contribution.

Watmore first won his side a penalty, then scored a goal and finally set up Chuba Akpom for a third as his side secure a 3-1 victory in the 2017 European Championship qualifying fixture.

The Black Cats striker also appeared as a late substitute against Bosnia, but couldn’t help Gareth Southgate’s team again as the match ended goalless.
