Swansea City are reportedly ready to hand their former striker Wilfried Bony another spell at the Welsh outfit this month.
The Premier League side, who suffered a shock FA Cup third-round exit to the hands of League Two Oxford United on Sunday, are thought to be interested in re-signing the Manchester City hitman during the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old, who has 41 international caps for the Ivory Coast, has scored nine goals in 23 appearances in all competitions for the Citizens this season.
Bony, who left the Liberty Stadium for Manuel Pellegrini’s side only 12 months ago in a deal worth £28m, has been left frustrated by the Chile manager’s decision to continually play the regularly unfit Sergio Aguero ahead of him this term and is said to be considering his future at the Etihad Stadium.
The Ivorian scored an impressive 35 goals in 70 appearances for the Swans between 2013 and 2015.
