Arsenal will hope to build on Saturday’s win over West Ham United when they face Manchester United on Wednesday.

The Gunners found themselves 5-2 up at half-time against the Hammers after a frantic opening 45 minutes, and Mikel Arteta’s side held on to pick up a crucial three points.

Despite the victory, the North London side remain nine points behind runaway leaders Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.

A win over the Red Devils seems crucial if Arsenal are to remain in the title race, but United have improved since Ruben Amorim’s arrival last month and will undoubtedly provide a stern test for Arteta’s side.

Off the pitch, however, one of Arsenal’s defenders is attracting a significant amount of attention.

According to CaughtOffside, Polish defenders Jakub Kiwior has attracted interest from no fewer than 10 different clubs, primarily in Serie A.

The Poland international joined the Gunners from Italian side Spezia in January 2023 and has since played a bit-part role at The Emirates.

Kiwior has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A

The 24-year-old has made 48 appearances for Arsenal but has never established himself as a regular starter in Arteta’s side, despite his ability to play at centre-back or left-back.

It is claimed that clubs including Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, Bologna, Fiorentina and Atalanta are all showing interest in the versatile defender.

French side Marseille and Spanish clubs Sevilla and Villarreal are named as the other clubs that are keeping tabs on the player, although it is claimed that Arsenal have not yet made a decision on his future.

Kiwior’s contract with Arsenal isn’t set to expire until 2028, and the report claims that while Arsenal would prefer to sell the player if he does depart, the majority of interest at present is in relation to a potential loan deal.

Napoli, AC Milan and Sevilla are credited as the three clubs that have enquired about the defender’s availability, with the Spanish side asking specifically about a potential loan move.
