Harry Kane looks to be getting his mojo back after three goals in his last two league games.

And he’ll come up against the most improved defender in the Premier League in the form of David Luiz on Wednesday.

The Brazilian international has been a revelation since returning to Stamford Bridge in the summer, and has taken the newer central role of the back three in his stride over the opening half of the campaign.

Luiz is a much better defender now and is less likely to take any risks in his own half, yet he’ll come up against one of the toughest tests in the Premier League in Kane on Wednesday.

Last season’s Golden Boot winner hasn’t quite hit the heights of that campaign, but he has still netted ten goals in just 14 starts this season, with only Sergio Aguero (104) and Diego Costa (114) averaging less minutes per goal than the Englishman (118).

How well Luiz marshals Kane and prevents him linking-up with the likes of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen will be crucial on Wednesday if Chelsea are to register a record-breaking 14th successive win.
