Chelsea moved nine points clear at the top of the Premier League on Tuesday night following a 1-1 draw at title rivals Liverpool.

Antonio Conte’s men were already in the box seat to regain the title come May prior to kick-off, and it looked pretty much like a done deal at half-time as a David Luiz free-kick gave them a 1-0 lead.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds hit back in the second half through Georginio Wijnaldum’s header to secure a much-needed point, which in turn ended a run of three straight home losses.

Nonetheless, Chelsea increased their lead at the top after Tottenham drew at Sunderland and Arsenal lost at home to Watford, which means that Conte’s men have a nine-point cushion with just 15 games to go.

That looks like too big a cushion for anyone to make up, especially given that the Blues have lost just one of their last 17 league games, winning 15.

Yet, a few people still felt that Conte needed to strengthen his squad in January in a bid to maintain their position at the top, but they were one of several sides that didn’t spend a penny last month.

They were still linked to many quality players during the window, and here is what their FRONT FOUR could have looked like if they got one deal over the line last month…
