Spurs have been in sensational form in the last few months, and that appears to have coincided with Christian Eriksen’s own return to form.

The Danish international contributed to just five goals in his first 17 appearances of the season, of which only three were in the Premier League, but his goal in the 2-1 defeat at Chelsea in November has instigated an excellent run of form.

The 24-year-old has scored five goals and laid on six assists in his last 12 games for Tottenham, and has helped them go from top four outsiders to title contenders.

Although they had an off-day against Sunderland on Tuesday, Spurs have been brilliant in recent months, and a lot of that has been down to Eriksen’s upturn in form.
