The unstoppable Liverpool front line including one summer target

Sadio Mane

He has been arguably Liverpool’s most important player this year, which is why fears that Sadio Mane could be out for the rest of the season will be a bitter blow for Klopp and his team.

The 24-year-old signed from Southampton last summer after an excellent two seasons at St Mary’s, in which time he scored 21 goals and laid on nine assists to help the Saints to back-to-back top ten finishes.

And he has continued his stunning form at Anfield, netting 13 goals and laying on six assists for Klopp’s men this term, this all given that he missed the whole of January due to his participation at the African Cup of Nations.

And it was during January that many realised the importance of Mane to this Liverpool team, given that they only won one of the seven matches he missed, and given that he has netted four goals in eight games since returning, he is certainly developing into their go-to man.
