Liverpool slipped to third in the Premier League over the weekend after only managing a 1-1 draw at Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp’s men were replaced in second by Tottenham on Saturday following their 4-0 victory over West Brom, but the Reds were unable to leapfrog Mauricio Pochettino’s men on Sunday despite taking a first half lead at Old Trafford through a James Milner penalty.

Instead, Jose Mourinho’s United earned a deserved point six minutes from time when Zlatan Ibrahimovic headed over the excellent Simon Mignolet to deny the Reds a 14th league win of the campaign.

Consequently, Klopp’s men have fallen seven points behind league leaders Chelsea after Antonio Conte’s men beat Leicester 3-0, yet Liverpool remain in a great position to return to the Champions League next season, given that they lead fifth place Manchester City by five points with 17 games to go.

However, the Reds will be frustrated not to get the three points at Old Trafford yesterday, and many feel that Klopp needs to make one or two more signings in the winter window to keep his side in the title race.

Inevitably, that means that some players will need to leave the club to make room for new additions, so here are TWO Liverpool players who must leave Anfield this month for their own good…
