It was little over a year ago to the day that Marcus Rashford announced himself on the world stage for Manchester United.

The 19-year-old was a late replacement for the injured Anthony Martial against Midtjylland in their Europa League last-32 clash on February 25 2016, and made the most of his chance by firing home a brace to secure their place in the next round.

Three days later, the striker made Louis van Gaal’s starting line-up against Arsenal in the Premier League, and he continued to ride the wave with two goals in just three minutes to help the Red Devils to a vital 3-2 victory over Arsene Wenger’s Gunners.

That was exactly a year ago today, and since then Rashford has gone on to make his debut for the England team, in which he netted just three minutes into his international career against Australia in May 2016, and he has indeed scored the winner in a Manchester derby.

Life completely changed for Rashford in those few days a year ago, so who could be the next young star ready to seize their chance in the first team should it come along?
