It’s just over a year ago to the day that Marcus Rashford announced himself on the big stage with Manchester United.

The teenager benefitted from Anthony Martial’s injury in the warm-up to take his place in the starting eleven against Midtjylland on February 25 2016, and he made the most of his chance by netting a brace in a 5-1 victory for the Red Devils.

The 19-year-old’s efforts took the country by storm and just 72 hours later, he was named in the United eleven to face Arsenal in the Premier League, and he once again didn’t disappoint, scoring twice in just three minutes to help Louis van Gaal’s men to a 3-2 success over the Gunners.

Those whirlwind few days completely changed Rashford’s career, as he has since made his debut and scored on it for England against Australia, and then made Roy Hodgson’s 23-man squad for the European Championships in 2016.

Add in a winner in a Manchester derby, as well as crucial strikes against Aston Villa and Hull, and the forward has had a stellar rise, but who might be the next youngster to take their chance in the first team when it comes along?

Well, we took a look at Tottenham’s pool of young talent, and given manager Mauricio Pochettino’s track record of giving youth a chance, here are TWO forwards who could be the next Rashford…
