These are the 3 worst January signings Arsenal ever made

In January 2008, Luke Freeman arrived at the Emirates Stadium following a £255,000 transfer from Gillingham.

Despite being an Arsenal player for four years, Freeman never made a first-team appearance for the Gunners.

Freeman featured in loan spells at both Yeovil Town and Stevenage during his unsuccessful spell in North London.

It’s fair to say that the quarter of a million transfer fee and four years worth of wages was a waste of money from Arsene Wenger’s budget.

Freeman is currently playing for Bristol City in the Championship.
