Man City have made an excellent start to life under the stewardship of former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola.

City have won six of their opening seven Premier League games – the only disappointment coming at White Hart Lane, where they were outplayed by Tottenham in a 2-0 defeat prior to the international break.

Guardiola has also steered his side to the Champions League group stages, after an emphatic 6-0 qualifying play-off win over Steaua Bucharest, in which they have started with a victory over Borussia Monchengladbach and a draw at Celtic.

However, City’s great start hasn’t prevented rumours building about who Guardiola may look to sign in January.
