The third member of this midfield trio is Borussia Monchengladbach’s Mahmoud Dahoud, who shot to prominence in last season’s Bundesliga.

The 20-year-old midfielder made 41 appearances last season for the German outfit, and scored five times and assisted nine in helping the club finish fourth in the table and secure a place in the Champions League.

Unsurprisingly, the German Under-21 international has been attracting interest from several European clubs, with Manchester City, Tottenham, and Borussia Dortmund all linked with the talented midfielder.
