The Bundesliga Player of the Year, and scorer of 39 goals in 49 games last season, Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one of the most clinical goal-scorers in world football.

The Gabon international moved to Dortmund in 2013 after an excellent stint at St Etienne, and has gone on to score 96 goals in 159 games for the German outfit – a staggering strike rate.

Aubameyang made it 16 for the season in their 2-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt yesterday, a result that sees them slip to sixth in the Bundesliga, and he has unsurprisingly been linked with a move away from the club.

Guardiola is reportedly a fan, and the 27-year-old forward is entering, if not already in, his peak years, so City should do all they can to bring him to the Etihad.
