Mourinho could use Antoine Griezmann’s versatility to his advantage, should the Atletico Madrid forward make the move to Old Trafford in the January window.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with United and Mourinho’s former employers Chelsea interested, and Griezmann would no doubt benefit both sides in their pursuits for glory.

With United, Mourinho could use him out wide in a front three, play him just behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, or alongside the Swede upfront – the possibilities are endless and, such is his quality, he could roam and take up a free role in the side to get the best out of him.
