Spanish international Hector Bellerin has developed into one of the best right-backs in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old, who made his debut for the Spanish senior team only last year, broke into the Gunners first team back in 2014 following the departure of Bacary Sagna to Manchester City, and has since moved ahead of Mathieu Debuchy in the pecking order.

The Frenchman’s serious injury issues have been a factor in that, but Bellerin has improved at an incredible rate, and appeared in all but two of their Premier League games last term in a defence which conceded just 36 goals, one more than the joint-lowest Tottenham and Manchester United.

Injuries have plighted his season this time round as well, but there’s no doubt that the 21-year-old is the best right-back at the club when fit, and will continue to be for several years to come.
