Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson is once again proving to be one of the most creative midfielders in the Premier League this season.

The 27-year-old currently tops the assists charts in the Premier League with 11 for the season, and with five in his last seven games, he continues to be Swansea’s go-to man in their bid to avoid the drop.

With eight goals for the Swans this term, Sigurdsson has directly contributed to over half of their Premier League goals this season (19 of their 36), which means it’s hardly surprising that he is attracting interest from those in the upper echelons of the top-flight.

Everton have been linked with the playmaker, and should Swansea go down this season, he’d surely be on his way in the summer, with Goodison Park a possible destination.
