This is the ideal Manchester United midfield should they sign Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos

Paul Pogba

United fans will still want more from Paul Pogba, especially in the big games, but it’s clear that he’s finding his feet in English football as the season wears on.

The French international returned to Old Trafford last summer for £89 million, and has scored four goals and laid on three assists in 25 Premier League appearances thus far.

And while they aren’t great numbers for the world’s most expensive player, his performances have been impressive, especially in the more advanced role where he can affect the play more.

Pogba’s efforts against Liverpool back in January demonstrated that he can be a liability in the defensive aspects of the game, and it’s also in those sorts of games that Mourinho will hope that the 23-year-old can make more of an impact in the future.

Nonetheless, the Frenchman is certainly improving as the season goes on, and it’s surely just a matter of time before he adds more goals and assists to his game.
