Kevin De Bruyne went away and rebuilt his career in Germany after a barren spell at Chelsea, and he is now reaping the rewards from such a decision.

The Belgian international earned a big money move to City back in 2015, and scored 15 goals in his first season at the Etihad, as well as laying on nine assists in the Premier League.

Although he hasn’t scored as many as he would have liked this season (he’s currently on three for the campaign), De Bruyne has already equalled last season’s assists tally, which is the most of any player in the top-flight.

The 25-year-old is a match-winner, and has proven to be a key player for City over recent times, and indeed will be for the foreseeable future.
