Dimitri Payet has been nothing short of sensational since his £10.7 million move to East London last year.

The French international scored nine goals and laid on 12 assists for the Hammers last year, and was a key reason why the club finished seventh in the top-flight.

Payet carried that great form into the European Championships in the summer, and scored three times to help France reach the final, including the winner in their first match against Romania.

He has also proved this season how important he is to this West Ham team, with his goal against Accrington the winner and the stunning solo one against Middlesbrough rescuing a point for Bilic’s side – he just needs a few others to take the weight off his shoulders.
