This is what Chelsea’s fearsome front three could look like come the end of January

Belgian international Eden Hazard has arguably been one of the best players in the Premier League this season – this all after his worst campaign for Chelsea last time out.

The 26-year-old managed just four Premier League goals last term in the Blues’ dreadful title defence, yet this season has seen Hazard return to, and arguably exceed, the exceptionally high standards he set in the 2014/15 campaign.

The attacker has netted nine times and laid on three assists in 20 Premier League matches and, although he’s scored just two and assisted two goals in his last nine matches, he is still the one creating opportunities for the Blues, with his tally of 43 for the season considerably more than any other Chelsea player.

His understanding with Pedro and Diego Costa has been excellent this term, and if he can continue to make the difference in the final third with such regularity, then Conte’s men will go close this season.
