Manchester United make the short trip to face rivals Liverpool on Sunday, with The Red Devils on fine form at present.

Erik ten Hag’s side lifted the Carabao Cup with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United last Sunday, before progressing into the last eight of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win over West Ham United.

The hosts had fallen behind at Old Trafford when Said Benrahma put The Hammers ahead, before late goals from Wout Weghorst, Alejandro Garnacho and Fred ensured Ten Hag’s side booked their place in the quarter-finals.

The Red Devils’ victory may have come at a price, though, as it appears West Ham are now interested in no fewer than three of United’s players.

As reported by Football Insider, The Hammers are monitoring Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay, with a view to potentially moving for the trio this summer.

All three players have struggled for game time under Ten Hag this season, with the trio having made a combined 18 Premier League starts this term.

Maguire, 29, remains United’s club captain but has fallen behind the likes of Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof in the pecking order at centre-back.

Maguire’s time at Manchester United could be coming to an end

Ten Hag even opted to use left-back Luke Shaw ahead of Maguire at centre-back last month, in the absence of his usual pairing.

Despite his lack of game time, the England international has also attracted interest from other Premier League sides and clubs in Europe, the report claims.

McTominay, meanwhile, has seen his playing time decrease following the arrivals of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro last summer.

The Scotland international, 26, has only started 12 games across all competitions so far this season, and his current contract is due to expire in 2025.

United will reportedly let the Scot leave for around £25 million this summer, according to the report.

Forward Martial is another player that has fallen down the pecking order in recent months, with the likes of Antony, Jadon Sancho and Weghorst all seemingly ahead of him in Ten Hag’s plans.

The Frenchman has been a United player for almost eight years, but his current deal is due to expire next summer and he looks increasingly likely to leave the club.
