Liverpool will look to keep their Premier League top four hopes alive this weekend when they host their rather recent rivals Southampton.

The two clubs have enjoyed a rather bitter relationship, mainly from the point of the fans of the south coast, since the Saints’ return to the return to the top flight with Liverpool constantly picking off the top talent from St. Mary’s.

The two sides have already met three times this season, having faced off in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup, with Claude Puel’s men enjoying the better record, two wins and a draw without a goal conceded in all three.

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that his men can make a change to that record at Anfield this weekend, but may need to shake things up in terms of his selection.
