Benik Afobe joined Wolves for £2m only last January from Premier League side Arsenal.

Formerly on the books of Premier League leaders Arsenal; Benik Afobe could be looking at a return to the English top-flight after just 12 months with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 22-year-old, who is an ex-England Under-21 international, has bagged an impressive 23 goals in just 48 appearances for Wolves since sealing a £2m switch from the Gunners last January.

Afobe, who was the subject of a failed £10m approach from Norwich City back in the summer transfer window, is reportedly attracting interest from Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Championship rivals Derby County this month.

He currently has nine goals in 25 games in all competitions for Kenny Jackett’s side so far this season.
