9. MK Dons 4-0 Man United – 3rd Round 2014
It was a result that barely anybody expected, especially Louis van Gaal, who at this point was still looking for his first win. MK Dons dominated the Red Devils throughout the game and thoroughly deserved their emphatic victory. United hadn’t even put out a fully weak line-up – De Gea was in goal, Hernandez and Welbeck were up-front and Kagawa also featured. Yet the Premier League giants were dismantled by the League One outfit, as Will Grigg and Benik Afobe grabbed two goals each to make it a night to forget for the Dutch boss.
