Norwich completed a stunning comeback at Carrow Road which saw them draw 4-4 against Middlesbrough after being 3-1 down with 80 minutes on the clock. The Canaries, like Spurs, actually went 1-0 up in the 18th minute through Damien Francis but Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Franck Queudrue both scored a brace to put four on the board for Boro. It all looked over for Norwich before home debutant Dean Ashton sparked a comeback, scoring with 10 minutes remaining. Leon McKenzie then dived in to score the host’s third, and, three minutes into added time, club captain Adam Drury headed the equaliser to complete the comeback.
